Promotes harmony of mind and body. Tai Chi is meditation in motion, movements are slow and gentle. Classes include muscle stretching and relaxation. Suitable for all ages. TAI CHI (Limited Mobility) Do you have limited mobility that stops you from exercising? This form of Tai Chi is a gentle exercise class for people who cannot stand for any length of time. It can be done sitting or standing and with a minimum of limb mobility. Movements are slow and gentle and some relaxation is included. Suitable for all abilities. An exercise program aimed towards improving and maintaining current level of mind and body fitness. The class includes flexibility, cardio-pulmonary, balance and co-ordination training, in addition to specific weight-bearing exercises practised in Tai Chi. Improves body awareness and control. All exercsies may be modified to suit individual ability and needs. Suitable for seniors.
